Meet some of our Team Members for Pesky Varmints:

Pesky Varmints is a family owned and operated business. Dan and Lindsey Floyd are Native Floridians who enjoy the outdoor life.  They started Pesky Varmints because of the love they have for wildlife and the Florida Everglades. Dan and Lindsey are both Licensed Python Contractors for FWC to remove the invasive Burmese Python throughout the Florida Everglades. Together, Dan and Lindsey have the experience, skills and knowledge to keep your home and business varmint free.

Dan Floyd, Owner

Native to Florida, Dan grew up hiking the woods of East Bonita, catching all the critters that nature had to offer. At a young age, he joined the Freshwater Fish and Game Commission's Youth Camp (Now known as FWC), and later became a Camp Counselor to teach others  the importance of the ecosystem and Florida wildlife. As an adult, Dan spends most of his time in the outdoors camping and fishing.

Lindsey Floyd, Owner

Lindsey grew up in Southwest Florida, enjoying the outdoors. On her off time, she enjoys photographing the beautiful work of Mother Nature. Woods 'N Water  magazine published Lindsey's photos of black bears that frequently visit their home. When Lindsey is not catching critters or photographing them, she enjoys writing about the beautiful Everglades. Check out her recent book, The Adventures of Nugget.

Mike Strauss, Wildlife Specialist

Mike is a Native to Florida and grew up exploring the woods of East Bonita. He is highly trained and a pure natural when working with Florida's wildlife. Mike has been a part of the Pesky Varmints family since the opening of the company. He is one of Dan and Lindsey's Python Hunting Assistants, as well as top Cane Toad Wrangler. He works hard to protect the native wildlife while removing the invasive species.
